Today I discovered YouTube potters and honestly… O.M. gosh. What a wonderful, generous, endlessly helpful community of people. Watching them work, talk through mistakes, share tips, and celebrate tiny wins felt like being quietly welcomed into a world I didn’t know I’d been looking for.

I also discovered that I could bring my extra All Fired Up clay home and make things there. That part might have changed everything. I still love a good group class, but being able to play at home, on my own time, with my own music? Surely my new favorite thing ever.

So here I am, watching potters on YouTube and making little mushrooms. Mushies everywhere.

How lovely is my life, y’all???

Somewhere between the videos and the clay-covered table, I became very determined to figure out how to do more of this at home. This wasn’t just a hobby anymore. It was starting to feel like a direction.
