Hey Mom, Make a Frog

Colton (kid #5 - 20yo) wandered into the home studio while I was playing in the clay tonight and said, “Hey Mom, you should make a frog.” I told him, kid… I don’t know how to make a frog. Without missing a beat he replied, “What, like it’s hard?” 😂

So I told him, fine — you make a frog. And he did.

Y’all… look at this adorable frog.

There’s something really special about watching your kid sit down, trust the clay, and just make a thing without hesitation or doubt. No overthinking. No fear of getting it wrong. Just hands, imagination, and a little confidence (just a touch of google search for inspiration).

Tonight the studio was full of laughter, muddy fingers, and one very excellent frog. 😅💚
