Feeling Artsy
I got the first couple of pieces back from the kiln at All Fired Up today and spent the day glazing them. Choosing colors, brushing them on, imagining how they might look once fired — it all felt very artsy in the best possible way.
There’s something deeply satisfying about this stage, where the pieces start to feel finished and expressive. Like they’re crossing a threshold from made to becoming something. I loved every minute of it.
Clay, color, and a whole lot of excitement. I’m officially hooked.
