Gone Camping Mug

I learned about using fondant molds for adding sprigs and personality to pottery and I fell right in love with the technique. I quickly found a fondant mold with nature and camping and those are a few of my favorite things and so this mug came to life. I love it so much. It was the first piece I fired in my baby kiln and one of the first pieces I glazed.

I also wanted to have the Northern Lights glaze in the sky of this camping scene mug - you can see the inspiration in the photos below. I think it came out alright for my first try. Also I love this silly little mug so much I had to selfie with it. 🥰😏
